Overview
Pyramid Analytics includes a SharePoint WebPart that is designed to make the integration
of Pyramid analytic and dashboard content into a SharePoint and PerformancePoint portal simple and
highly functional.
One of the most popular ways to incorporate business intelligence into an organization's
portal is through Microsoft SharePoint (MOSS). To facilitate this functionality, the stand alone Pyramid WebPart application will install and configure
all the necessary aspects of the WebPart to make it accessible from inside the portal
editing environment - for both Enterprise and Standard editions of SharePoint 2010. Pyramid content can also be "connected" to PerformancePoint WebParts so the two can interact.

Adding Content
Once a page has been designed, users can add a Pyramid WebPart from the main menu.
Users are then presented with the listing of content (Pyramid books and dashboards) in a WebPart
content panel, which allows developers to pick and choose individual reports or slides
to embed in the portal page. Like all WebParts, the panel can be modified and resized
as needed.
Connectors
In SharePoint Enterprise with PerformancePoint, developers can connect WebParts together to feed parameters
from one part to the next (as part of PerformancePoint). This connector functionality is fully compatible with
the Pyramid WebPart which is able to use incoming connectors as parameters
for slicing queries in existing Pyramid reports.
