Magic Number is 6!

We are thrilled to once again be included on the 2019 Gartner Analytics and Business Intelligence Platforms Magic Quadrant. This is our 6th straight year—no small feat when you consider the world’s leading research and advisory company evaluates hundreds of BI platforms each year.

One of the things we’re proudest of—aside from our staying power on the annual quadrant—is that we’ve maintained a relentless focus on customer success. In fact, customer feedback was a driving force for the development of the next-generation version of our platform we released in late 2017.

When customers said they wanted to incorporate non-Microsoft infrastructure into their analytics environments, we listened—and delivered a 100 percent technology-agnostic platform. When customers said they wanted to enable an emerging group of citizen data scientists with advanced data preparation capabilities, we listened—and delivered an end-user ETL capable of incorporating machine learning algorithms into everyday scenarios.

And we continue to listen to our customers. In the last year alone, roughly one-third of the new features in our product were driven by customer conversations and feedback. Today, our platform is one of the most complete and adaptable enterprise analytics and BI platforms available on the market.

We are proud of what we do for our customers every day. We help education, retail, manufacturing, government, financial services, insurance, and healthcare organizations use data to compete and thrive in their respective markets. We do so by providing an analytics solution that adapts to specific customer needs and requirements, and produces real-life, tangible benefits.

As we continue to develop our platform, we won’t chase over-hyped technologies that companies cannot realistically implement. Rather, we will focus most of our development efforts on functionality that makes enterprise analytics initiatives successful for our customers today—not in some unknown, indeterminate future.

That’s not so say we’re not focused on tomorrow. In fact, our reputation is defined by an uncanny ability to anticipate market needs. Before the emergence of so-called “modern” analytics and BI platforms, we were helping our customers balance enterprise and self-service needs. Our platform is designed as a full-featured analytics and reporting platform that leverages yesterday’s investments combined with a hardened ML framework for today’s sophisticated challenges. The result? A universal analytics OS platform built to meaningfully anticipate tomorrow’s analytic needs.

Our current data environment is at an inflection point. Today, businesses drive data; soon, data will drive business. Pyramid’s approach is to provide our customers with a functional platform that bridges current and future analytics needs. Our vision is to provide a platform that produces self-optimizing decisions—decisions that anticipate business needs and dramatically increase the value of data.

We are committed to delivering that future state to our customers. Our extended presence on Gartner’s Magic Quadrant confirms our unrelenting focus on market and customer needs—yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
