Riding that analyst wave, we are excited to share that Pyramid Analytics was named a Strong Performer in Gartner’s 2024 Voice of the Customer for Analytics and Business Intelligence Platforms.

Voice of the Customer is an aggregated peer perspective of Gartner Peer Insights reviews, for buyers of analytics and business intelligence (BI) technology. Along with the individual detailed reviews, this document is complementary to Gartner expert research and can play a key role in an organization’s analytics and BI buying process. Peers are verified reviewers of a product, who not only rate the technology or service, but also provide valuable feedback to consider before making a technology purchase.

So, what’s the big deal with the Voice of the Customer?

The big deal is that Gartner is arming ABI buyers with as much intelligence as possible, to assist them in their technology buying journey.

The Gartner Magic Quadrant for ABI Platforms contains a broad analysis of the vendors in the market, with many factors comprising the evaluation. The Critical Capabilities for ABI Platforms, the Magic Quadrant’s companion document, directly focuses on the product offering, leveraging four use cases and 12 capabilities.

However, what makes the Voice of the Customer different, is that it is based purely on the Gartner Peer Insights reviews.  Gartner Peer Insights is a peer-driven community where leaders can easily connect with the right set of peers to get the insights they need for honest discussion without fear of commercial bias.

Note that not all vendors from the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for ABI Platforms are included in the Voice of the Customer document. Only vendors with 20 or more eligible published reviews (and 15 or more ratings for Capabilities and Support/Delivery) during the specified 18-month submission period are included. Reviews from vendor partners or end users of companies with less than $50 million in revenue are excluded from this report.

Why did Pyramid rate so well?

Recognized as a Strong Performer, Pyramid shined in a few areas in the Voice of the Customer document.

Out of 21 vendors, Pyramid ranked fourth overall with 94% of peers suggesting a willingness to recommend it. Additionally, Pyramid had stellar scores for Product Capabilities as well as Support Experience.
