Datazed was set up by Charles in 2017, following a career in data with Deloitte LLP and Beazley plc. Charles has since worked with one of the UK’s largest technology retailers, an FTSE 100 general insurer, an insurtech business, and in reinsurance. In 2020, Charles identified a client benefit in engaging teams of experienced independent professionals and formed Datazed Associates to deliver this.

We asked Charles to share a bit about himself, what inspired him to set up Datazed and then Datazed Associates, and how he did both. In addition, we learned a little bit more about the importance of data governance and how Charles and his network help clients to make intelligent decisions based on well-governed data.
